Handcrafted in the Swiss Alps – designed for two classics: the perfect pizza night and a juicy steak. The sharp blades glide effortlessly through crispy pizza crusts, tender (or not so tender) meat, and have also proven themselves as versatile prep knives in the kitchen.

This special gift set includes the 4-piece knife set together with two fine seasonings from Bünzligwürz – Schnick Fitzel and Eifach Gwürz. The Swiss brand stands for natural ingredients, authentic flavours and outstanding quality – creating spice blends that turn every meal into a true taste experience. A gift that delights both in the kitchen and at the table.

Our pizza / steak knives (yes, really, they work great for both) are handmade, consisting of a blade made of surgical steel (material number 1.4116, material designation AISI 440A, Rockwell hardness 54-55 HRC) and a polypropylene handle.

Anything but stuffy: the knives are dishwasher safe… Mr. Bünzli’s spices are all free from chemical ingredients, vegan and gluten-free!

Last but not least: The meaning of «Bünzli»
While it is difficult to translate precisely, even for Swiss people, it is generally accepted that Bünzli describes a person who is very conformist and is always prepared to ask others to abide by the rules. Bünzli is often regarded by many people in Switzerland as being “really Swiss” – on-time, rule-abiding and perhaps even a little nit-picky… Mr and Mrs Bünzli (Mr and Mrs Swiss…) are nice, friendly, charming and make sure to do everything right… Kind of cute, actually.
