Basel City

Switzerland’s third-largest city has around 172,300 inhabitants. On the left side of the River Rhine we are in Grossbasel with the beautiful Old Town around Marktplatz, where City Hall is also located. On the right side of the Rhine we stroll through Kleinbasel and pass the Mittlere Brücke, which connects the Old Town on both sides of the river.

While known as a global centre for the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, Basel has much more to offer. Its numerous art and cultural institutions are also world-renowned. A colourful, multicultural town, with much importance and charm.

A city panorama that is certainly worth a PanoramaKnife.

Enjoy!
