Description

As summer in the Alps slowly comes to an end, the herdsmen return to the valley with their beautifully decorated cows. In many parts of Switzerland, the traditional Alpine descent is an integral part of late summer and is usually celebrated between August and September.

Our utility knife captures this beautiful tradition with lovingly designed paper-cut motifs. Handcrafted in the Alps, it naturally brings together Swiss craftsmanship, mountain culture and everyday life – practical, distinctive and a little piece of Switzerland for the kitchen.

The blade is made of surgical steel material number 1.4116, material designation AISI 440A, Rockwell hardness 54-55 HRC. The almost velvety handle is made of walnut wood.

A handcrafted knife – made in Switzerland. Please wash by hand!
